Saffron, and it is so beautiful. I do keep it and have a few recipes, but do need to experiment more. I have mostly used it in soups.

I like it very much in an orange rice pudding. Instead of cinnamon or vanilla, try it with saffron. Delicious!

I have saffron, but also have a long-time 'fear of saffron,' so my experience is very limited.

I knew this one!!

I am Canadian Persian, so I use saffron a lot in my dishes. In addition to it's good fragrance, saffron remove stress and if you use a little bit of it everyday you will be happier and healthier.

Saffron and one of these days I will keep watch on the stretch of forest that has fall crocuses so that I can try to harvest my own. Or, I suppose, plant my own bulbs . . .
