Chickpea. Not in my pantry at this time.

Chick peas! Yes, I always have them in my pantry, ready to use pre-cooked in can or jar (or soaked and cooked, and frozen). Delicious in summer salads with salted cod fish, finely chopped onion and parsley, with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and a dash of wine vinegar; or in winter along with vegetables in my earthy lamb or chicken couscous, spiced up with a bit of onion-currents compote. And all between, from humus and falafel to curry...

Garbanzo bean

It looks like Isabel's favorite item to eat with feta and olive oil: chickpeas!

Look like dried chickpeas (garbanzon beans) to me. Cool.

Chickpeas.

Ceci, chickpea, garbanzo...take your pick.
I do have some in my pantry.

Chick peas and yes. Always.

Yep, looks like garbanzo beans to me ,too. I always keep them in my pantry, canned and dried. Use them frequently because my hubs and son love them. I, however, am more like you. They are not my favorite. I think it's a textural thing.

Yes indeed, I always have chickpeas both canned and dried!

Ceci, chana, chickpeas, garbanzo beans! A must in my pantry!
