Chipotle turkey meatballs

None of the above. It's a Steinberg New Yorker cover.
I know from the Central Park hint.

3…I've never heard of it! I'll have to go pick some up and give it a try.

3. From reading about it I think can live without this spice.

3 it really took some reading to get this one! I got sidetracked reading all about #1!!

It has to be #3, but I never could have guessed it from the photo! I do have this ingredient and like it a lot. My brother Mark brought me some from Mexico once, and I am still using it.

OK, I definitely don't have this, in fact have never heard of it! It's used in recipe 3. When I looked at the photo I thought of Everything Bagels... it looks a little like the topping on those bagels!

#3 and I have it thanks to you!!! and learning about it from your post!! THANKS!! I am excited that I guessed it right off!

#3 -- that took a lot of reading, and thanks for the pleasure! Now I feel motivated to source it, try it and appreciate the benefits, both taste and anti-toot. (that is also one of the effects of D/dill seed too)

#3 and none in my pantry.

#3 and I do not currently have it.
