Other People's Pantries #73
From Michaela, in Woodland Hills, California:
The pantry in our Palm Springs vacation home is my favorite room in the house, always stocked with gourmet jarred items that can be created into fantastic appetizers when we have unexpected guests!
On Saturdays, we peek into Other People's Pantries.
Come on -- show us your pantry.
*Other People's Pantries was going to end early in 2009, to make way for a new Saturday feature. However, pantry photos continue to roll in, so I'll keep featuring them on Saturdays, in the order in which I receive them, for a while longer. If you've been thinking about sharing photos of your own pantry, now's the time to send them.

Very nice. I'm curious to know what the green stuff is on the shelf with the rice etc
LOVE all the cake stands!
Such a clean crisp pantry, incredibly well stocked!
I'd like to be one of those unexpected guests treated to a spontaneous meal made with a gourmet goodie! I'd love to hear more about the cake plate collection. I have several and end up putting plants or beach shells on them when there's no cake to be had.
That looks like a perfect vacation home pantry. All you need is a local farmer's market for fresh produce and you're all set for a weekend or week of delicious eating!
Nice! I especially love the cake stands.
You know what, I've been looking for a way to add interest to buffet displays, and the answer is in your pantry, cake stands! Off I go to thrift stores to find glass cake stands -- the perfect answer to create tiered food displays. Thanks! Is that container of jelled green stuff jalapeño jelly?
Beautiful pantry! I love that it's so clean and organized!
Great photos! :)
LOOK at all of those CAKE STANDS!!! Total jealousy! ;)
Gorgeous! Love the organization and of course the cake stands. I love an organized pantry and have been accused of setting up cabinets like "Sleeping with the Enemy" - all the labels facing forward, size order, ingredients bunched by category, etc.
Thank you everyone.
I not only use the cake stands (which I got at tag sales and flea markets) for cake, but for appitizers as well.
p.s. the "green stuff" is mint ~ rosemary jelly.
I love it! I hate when the labels are turned.
I'm obviously not the owner of this pantry, so it's just a guess, but I think the green stuff is probably mint jelly
And now I see he already explained that :(
My bad.
