Other People's Pantries #63

From Bridget (Bake at 350), in Houston, Texas:

One thing I have discovered is that it is HARD to take a pretty picture of a pantry or in a cabinet!

Since moving, I now don't have to store my spices and baggies, parchment, foil in the pantry.  That is a real help!  Now I'll be able to stock up on things more.

I like to use baskets, too. I have one basket for packaged snacks...like granola bars (you can see we really like Cascadian Farms Sweet & Salty bars). We have a basket for onions, garlic, etc.

Another basket is for chips....chocolate chips, mini chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, cinnamon chips, cappuccino chips...you get the picture!  There are some bars of baking chocolate in there, too.  I like to be stocked in case of a chocolate baking emergency! I'm embarrassed to say how many times a day I am in that basket, even though it is not at eye level, to grab some chocolate chips.

The seasonings and sprinkles are not in my pantry, but in a cabinet next to the microwave. I can't tell you how much easier that makes life! Before we moved, it was ALL in the pantry. It's nice to have a little more space, and I like seeing all of my food coloring and sprinkles on their own shelves.

On Saturdays, we peek into Other People's Pantries.

Come on -- show us your pantry.

Here's how.

A basket of chocolate... where's your house? I needs me some chocolate! :0) Oh wait, I live in Arizona to far to walk!

Does anyone have a pet pantry? =^..^=

I love the basket of chips!

MMMM, I need a basket of chocolate.

I love the use of baskets! (and I'd like to steal a snack or two from them)

This is a big pantry. Mine is small, due to having an older house.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who appreciates a basket of chocolate! :)

I know what you mean about trying to get a "pretty" picture, it took several trys for me as well to get a representation of what my pantry looked like. I love the look of your spice shelves so neat.

Nice photo. I like the way you use the baskets. ;-)

I like the brightness in your pantry. Are there lights inside?
I am really enjoying getting a peek inside everyone's pantries. This could/should turn into a book. Lydia???

Michele...no lights, that is a great idea, though. I just messed around with the brightness setting on my photo editor. :) The original picture looked a little dark.

Oh goodness . . . chocolate baking emergency! Now, that's a great pantry!!
