I was first introduced to McKinnon's, a family run business, when I lived in Everett, Massachusetts, where they have their second store in a small chain of shops. Now we live closer to the Danvers location, the third store, even bigger and nicer than Everett. The butchers are incredibly helpful and friendly, willing to answer any questions. But the real jewel in the chain is the newest store located in Salem, New Hampshire. It is a beauty and worth a visit if you are in the area.
